This proverb stresses the need to respond to any problem or any situation or any work with immediate effect. This proverb is similar to the proverb “Procrastination is the thief of the time”. Sometimes we think it is better to be late than never. It is right. However, it is applicable only in few situations.

In some cases, delays lead to loss or failure. When it is an ordinary matter, there is no harm. Planning to go tor a movie or an excursion may be delayed.

There is no loss faced in such situations But in other situations, delays can prove to be dangerous. There can never be a delay in admitting a patient in a hospital.

Such delays are dangerous. There is a possibility of loss of life. We are well aware of these In order to have things under our control, one must react immediately.

Appropriate action should be taken at once. Otherwise things would be beyond our control. Therefore, when one faces a problem, it must be solved in the initial stage itself.

It would prevent us from further damages. Delaying the matter may lead to complications which becomes sometimes unmanageable.
