This proverb expresses the need for action. We are reminded of anotherproverb ‘Actions speak louder than words’.
Look at the words of Swami Vivekananda! “Take up one idea, make that one idea your life, think of it, dream of it; live on that idea.
Let the brain, muscles, nerves and every part of your body, be full of that idea and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success”. Others are mere talking machines.
We must practise what we preach. Otherwise, the benefit if for the learner and not to the teacher. Here teacher does not refer to person who take up teaching at the schools and colleges. It refers to the action of the people.
It means that only the intelligent people reach their ambition and succeed in life. Ambitious people are always seen at their work.
Some others speak on various subjects and talk about their goals. But they do not apply themselves to reach their goal. They invite only failures.
