This proverb warns us to be thoughtful in our actions. Before we begin a work, we must think of the consequences. Without knowing the consequences it is not advisable to start a work.

We must analyse the pros and cons of what we are going to do. There is also a proverb which says, “Fortune favours the brave”. But it does not mean that we should do a work without planning.

No doubt, one must be bold enough
to face any situation. However, we cannot accept or do anything in a blind way.

We neet not experience each and everything. What? others experience may be a lesson for us. In Such case, we may decide as to whether we should do or not.

Once we are sure of problems to come in our way, we must give up our work. Wise do not continue inspite of difficulties.
