This proverb means that we are responsible for our actions. The results are based on one’s own actions. We cannot blame others for our failures.
If we sow a neem seed, we can only expect a neem tree to grow and not any other tree. Similarly, our success or failure are according to our effort.
If we think good, good things will happen. If we think bad, bad things will happen.
A thief cannot escape from the eyes of law. One day or other he has to face the punishment. When Bill Clinton was a small boy he wanted to be the President of America.
He was always thinking about his ambition. He was working for it. He was dreaming for it. Thirty years later he was able to achieve his aim.
If we want to achieve benefit, we must do good deeds.
In the beginning we may have shortcomings, obstacles and problems. But we will surely reach the goal. Bad thoughts and bad actions will lead to sufferings. The pleasure and enjoyment of bad actions are only temporary.
Hence one should think good, act good and do good.
