This proverb tells that in an effort to achieve our goal we have to go in a steady progress. It may be slow. But when we are constant we can achieve the result.

The world wonder Taj Mahal took almost two decades for its completion. One may think it was a very long time. However even after many years it stands now with pride and dignity.

We must concentrate on the quality. We need not worry about the quantity. It is the quality that is accepted by everyone and not the quantity.

We are reminded of the story of ’Hare and Tortoise’. Tortoise was slow and steady in its approach. Thus it was able achieve success. In spite of the strength the Hare could not succeed.

When we look at the inventions and discoveries we understand the importance of being steady. It is not a dayfs work that brings an invention to this world
